The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a lay voluntary organization dedicated to tackling poverty. Our mission is to provide material assistance and support to those in need within our parish community.
Services
Weekly Rations: We identify and support poor families in the parish who struggle to afford basic necessities, providing them with weekly rations.
Educational Assistance: We offer educational support to the children of the poorest families, ensuring they have the resources to succeed.
Home Construction and Renovation: We have built houses for needy families and provided financial assistance for home renovations.
Medical Assistance: We help cover medical expenses for those in need.
Community Visits: We regularly visit elderly, lonely, and vulnerable members of the parish to offer support and companionship.
How We Operate
Fundraising: Funds are raised through visits to parish families and through generous donations from well-wishers.
Meetings: Weekly meetings are held to discuss important matters and plan our activities.
