History and Activities of ICYM
The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) was initiated on 13 November 1983, starting with 16 members under the guidance of late Rev. Fr. Pascal Lobo. Originally named the Youth Association, Fr. Pascal Lobo served as the animator, with Mr. Ronald Pinto as the first president and Mr. Bernard D’Souza as the secretary. The primary goal of this movement was to unite interested and active youth to foster their social and personal development while enhancing the cultural and economic conditions of the Church.
