The Catholic Sabha unit of Kelarai Church was established on March 29, 2010, under the leadership of Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Francis D’Souza. The unit follows the motto "Service, Sacrifice, and Unity," showing its commitment to the well-being of the community and the Church.

Mr. Baptist Fernandes was the founding President, and Mrs. Lucy Rodrigues served as Secretary. The unit started with 25 members and has been actively involved in Church activities and community service. Over the years, their contributions include:

• Providing financial and material support to students in need within the Church.

• Organizing the annual blessing of Church members' vehicles in October.

• Hosting elocution competitions for students.

• Conducting blood donation drives and medical camps.

• Building and repairing houses for families with limited resources.

• Visiting and offering financial aid to those in the hospital.

• Organizing seminars on various topics for Church members.

• Honoring students who achieve top ranks and distinctions.

• Recognizing parish members for special achievements.

• Providing financial aid to the Church and St. Anne English Medium School during development projects.

• Performing skits and entertainment programs for parishioners.

• Organizing Sauharda Koota Janaspandan to promote unity among all people.

• Members also actively serve at the Deanery and Diocese levels.
